Our client develops financial software for small and medium-sized enterprises, focusing on payroll, taxation and accounting automation across European markets.

The Senior Dev Ops Engineer will lead the design and operation of cloud infrastructure that supports mission‑critical financial services. The role requires ownership of deployment pipelines, system reliability, security posture and operational excellence for backend services used by finance teams.

• Architect and operate scalable cloud infrastructure with emphasis on security and resilience
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for multiple service teams
• Develop and enforce infrastructure-as-code standards and modules
• Lead incident response and post‑incident analysis to improve system uptime
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to enable rapid, safe releases
• Build and maintain observability and alerting systems aligned with SLOs
• Drive cost optimisation and capacity planning

• Minimum 5 years experience in Dev Ops, SRE or cloud engineering roles
• Hands‑on experience with AWS or GCP at scale
• Proficiency with Kubernetes and container workflows
• Strong Terraform or equivalent IaC experience
• Proven history of managing CI/CD tools and pipelines
• Experience with monitoring, logging and tracing tools and SLO practices
• Familiarity with security controls, secret management and compliance
• Excellent English communication skills;
  German proficiency advantageous
