The Role  As a Principal Solution Consultant, you will collaborate closely with Aspen Tech sales teams to lead consultative discovery sessions, craft visionary solutions, and design strategies tailored to customer needs. Your deep understanding of the industries and coupled with Aspen Tech's broad product portfolio and value-enablers will drive opportunities that deliver significant business value to our customers and Aspen Tech.  

In this customer-facing role, you will leverage your technical domain expertise, industry knowledge, and business acumen to position Aspen Tech solutions effectively.##

*** Leading and executing the technical qualification of solutions to a business outcome.
* Serving as a discipline/practice subject matter expert with a strong understanding of operational challenges, best practices, and industry trends.
* Learning the complete Aspen Tech product portfolio to identify and apply products that solve real customer business challenges, including the value of solving those challenges.
* Developing the messaging and materials necessary to position Aspen Tech solutions in the industry – making adaptations for regional or market differences.
* Partnering closely with Sales Account Managers throughout the sales cycle, from discovery and solution design to executive presentations and deal execution.
* Engaging the senior executive level of customer organizations to paint the vision of how Aspen Tech can be a partner in their digitalization journey.
* Developing industry-specific solutions, aligning technology with measurable business value.
* Providing market input to the Product Management teams to improve solution adoption.
* Identifying and leading sales campaigns to improve Aspen Tech’s reach, pipeline and awareness.
* Coaching and enabling Sales Account Managers and Solution Consultants on industry-specific messaging, customer engagement strategies and solution positioning.
* Representing Aspen Tech at industry conferences, customer forums, webinars and trade events across the region.## What You'll Need

*** 10+ years of experience in industrial software, services, solution consulting, presales, technical sales or related customer-facing technical roles.
* Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or a related technical discipline (preferred).
