We are searching for an experienced FW/HW Engineer at our Portugal facility.

• Firmware Development:
  Design, develop, and test firmware for defense-related electronic devices.
• Hardware Design:
  Collaborate on the design and development of hardware, ensuring compatibility with firmware and adherence to defense specifications.
• Testing and Validation:
  Conduct integration and validation tests for hardware and firmware to ensure compliance with defense requirements.
• Problem Solving:
  Diagnose and resolve technical issues in hardware and firmware, ensuring reliability and performance.
• Documentation:
  Create and maintain detailed technical documentation of designs, tests, and processes.
• Collaboration:
  
  Work closely with other engineers and development teams to deliver integrated solutions that meet defense standards.
• Continuous Improvement:
  Participate in the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies.

• Education:
  
  Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience:
  
  Minimum of 3 years of experience in firmware and hardware development, preferably in the defense sector.

• Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++ and assembly.
• Experience with embedded systems and real-time system design.
• Knowledge of hardware interfaces like SPI, I2C, UART.
• Familiarity with debugging and analysis tools.

• Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate across disciplines.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Languages:
  
  Proficiency in technical English.

• Experience with defense industry standards and regulations.
• Knowledge of secure coding practices and cybersecurity principles.
• Familiarity with military-grade hardware and software development processes.
