Technical Product Designer​/CAD Engineer; f​/m​/x

What's it all about?

• You develop housing and metal parts within the project team, ensuring they are suitable in terms of design, manufacturability, and cost, and you independently implement your designs from the initial idea to series production.
• You create 3D models and assemblies in Solid Works.
• You create standard‑compliant technical drawings, including dimensional and geometric tolerances.
• You further develop components and assemblies, contributing to continuous product optimization.
• You support documentation with bills of materials, assembly instructions, and visualizations.
• You maintain data management systems and contribute to the further development of CAD data management.
• You are responsible for conducting and evaluating tests as part of product development, for example to achieve high IP protection classes.
• You are in direct contact with suppliers for prototype construction.
• You support the transition of products into manufacturing and monitor prototype production.
• You work closely with the project team and project management.

• A completed vocational training as a Technical Draftsperson / Product Designer or a degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience in design and project work, ideally in device development.
• Excellent knowledge of Solid Works.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes such as sheet metal processing, milling, plastic injection molding, and 3D printing.
• Good knowledge of materials engineering.
• Ideally, experience with Adobe Illustrator for creating print templates.
• Team spirit, strong communication skills, and good command of English.
