• Global Liaison:
  Act as the primary interface between the Berlin factory and the global electronics sourcing team in the US, ensuring seamless communication and alignment on sourcing strategies and supply chain operations.
• Supply Chain Operations:
  Coordinate end-to-end electronics supply chain operations, from planning and procurement to execution and performance monitoring, ensuring reliability and cost-efficiency for the Berlin factory.
• Local Sourcing Development:
  Develop and implement local sourcing strategies for electronic parts to enhance supply chain resilience, reduce lead times, and support regional operational goals.
• Supplier Management & Escalation:
  Lead supplier relationship management including performance reviews, risk assessments, and handling escalations. Proactively resolve supplier issues and mitigate potential disruptions.
• Crisis Resolution:
  Spearhead crisis management initiatives, quickly identifying and resolving supply chain disruptions to maintain production continuity.
• Cross-functional Collaboration:
  
  Partner with engineering, production, quality, and procurement teams to drive continuous improvement, streamline processes, and implement best practices.
• Strategic Planning & Execution:
  Develop and execute supply chain strategies that align with Tesla’s broader business objectives and support rapid scaling of production capabilities. Ensure supplier capacity planning meets business demand efficiently.
• Data-Driven Decision Making:
  Utilize analytical tools and metrics to monitor supply chain performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement corrective actions.

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain management, preferably within the electronics or high-tech manufacturing sectors, with a proven track record in managing complex, global supply chains.
• Deep understanding of electronics supply chain dynamics, sourcing strategies, and supplier risk management.
• Demonstrated experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing high-stakes supplier relationships in a global environment. Mentor junior SCMs as needed.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a history of effectively managing supplier escalations and resolving crises under pressure.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Fluency in English is required; proficiency in German is highly desirable.
• Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, balancing multiple priorities and delivering results under tight deadlines.
