Demand Planner

As a Senior Demand Planning Manager, you will lead the operational and tactical demand planning function, transforming forecasts into effective inventory, replenishment, and purchasing decisions. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will ensure planning activities are accurate, executable, and aligned with wider business objectives, while providing leadership to the demand planning team.

• Own the end-to-end operational and tactical demand planning process based on business forecasts
• Maintain optimal inventory levels while ensuring high product availability
• Develop, review, and validate demand, inventory, and replenishment plans
• Monitor stock levels, safety stock, lead times, and sales performance to support business targets
• Proactively identify and mitigate risks including stock shortages, excess inventory, and supply chain disruptions

• Work closely with procurement teams and suppliers to coordinate purchase orders and delivery schedules
• Track supplier performance, production progress, and delivery timelines
• Escalate supply risks where necessary and help maintain a reliable flow of goods throughout the supply chain

• Partner with senior planning and supply chain leaders to provide operational insights and validate forecast assumptions
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Procurement, Logistics, Customer Success, and Production teams
• Translate strategic planning decisions into practical operational execution

• Support the ongoing development and optimisation of demand planning systems and ERP platforms
• Identify opportunities to improve planning accuracy, replenishment processes, and supply chain efficiency
• Contribute to reporting, scenario planning, and continuous improvement initiatives across the business

• Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related discipline
• Several years of experience in Demand Planning, Supply Chain, Purchasing, or a similar function.
• Previous leadership or team management experience
• Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail and numerical ability
• Confident using ERP and demand planning systems (SAP experience is highly desirable
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
