The Role:

We’re searching for a Communications Manager, Ads to lead communications for our Advertising businesses. You will shape the narrative around our advertising and promotional tools, raise awareness among merchants, brands, agencies and industry stakeholders, and support the teams driving product development and commercial adoption.

This is a crucial position at an exciting moment as we drive our Ads businesses forward and welcome more merchants and partners every day. If you’re a strategic and creative storyteller with a knack for strategic thinking and getting‑stuff‑done attitude, this is your chance to make a big impact on a global scale. You will partner with Ads leadership, Product Marketing, Product, and the global comms team to translate developments across Ads into clear stories, scalable campaigns, and strong external visibility.

The role will report to our Head of Consumer, Product & Merchant Communications based in Stockholm. The role is based in Berlin or Stockholm and reports to the Head of Consumer, Product & Merchant Communications.

Responsibilities:
  • Drive comms around our multi‑category growth — grocery, retail, convenience, and alcohol — showing how we’re expanding beyond restaurants.
  • Build and execute a strategy to increase awareness of Wolt Ads and its products, partners and people among key audiences, including advertisers, agencies and merchants.

  • Showcase the value of Wolt Ads & Promotions brings to merchants of all sizes by developing compelling, data‑informed stories and case studies that support commercial adoption.
  • Work with Ads leadership, Product and Marketing to identify newsworthy launches, updates and milestones, and turn these moments into compelling stories and campaigns that can be scaled across markets, including earned and digital media.
  • Create thought leadership opportunities, support social campaigns, and leverage Wolt’s presence at key industry events and strengthen credibility.
  • Generate interview, panel, and on‑stage opportunities for spokespeople to raise their individual profiles and awareness of Wolt Ads, and prepare them with talking points, briefings and coaching.
  • Draft and review comms materials, including press materials, scripts and talking points, and coordinate with the global media relations team on market rollouts.
  • Develop and produce case studies, both written and filmed, that spotlight merchant success, using data where relevant to demonstrate how Wolt Ads helps partners grow - while also improving the consumer experience.
  • Foster and maintain relationships with relevant journalists, influencers, media partners and industry stakeholders to elevate Wolt Ads’ profile.
  • Manage internal communications for Ads & Promos, keeping teams aligned on narrative, progress and upcoming launches through structured updates and clear toolkits.
What we’re looking for
  • 5-6 years of experience in B2B communications, PR, product communications, ad‑tech, retail or technology, either agency‑side or in‑house.
  • Strong analytical, writing and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics and tailor messaging for different audiences.
  • Excellent storytelling instincts and the ability to quickly grasp and distill technical or multi‑layered information into clear, engaging content.
