As Legal Counsel, you will be the first point of contact for all legal matters within Trench Germany GmbH, covering areas such as sales, procurement, claims, disputes, and corporate law. Your primary responsibility is to ensure compliance with laws, internal policies, and contractual obligations while providing strategic legal guidance to the business. Over time, your role will expand to include legal support for HSP and Trench Austria, giving you the opportunity to broaden your impact.
You will also drive improvements in legal and commercial practices, processes, templates, and tools to strengthen the organization.
- Act as the first point of contac
t for all legal matters within Trench Germany GmbH, ensuring timely and accurate support for the business. - Draft, review, analyze, and negotiate contracts and other legal documents to safeguard the company's interests.
- Advise the business on legal and contractual issues
, including claim management and dispute resolution, with a proactive and solution-oriented approach. - Ensure compliance with applicable laws, internal processes, directives, policies, and contractual obligations.
- Define and maintain transparency of Terms & Conditions (T&Cs), assess related risks, and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with external law firms and manage relationships to ensure high-quality legal support.
Handle corporate law matters, including governance and statutory compliance. - Design and deliver legal training to business teams, fostering awareness and compliance across the organization.
- Drive continuous improvement of legal and commercial practices, including templates, tools, and knowledge management systems.
- Qualification:
German qualified lawyer (Volljurist/in). - Languages:
Fluent in German and English; additional languages are a plus. - Experience:
Extensive experience in handling legal matters within a corporate or commercial environment. A solid understanding of corporate law and compliance requirements is essential. - Strong intercultural competence and ability to work effectively in an international environment.
