Full Opportunity Brief Contextual OverviewFORMEL SKIN is seeking a pragmatic and autonomous Senior Legal Counsel (m/w/d) to lead all legal and data protection operations for its German entity. This role acts as the primary legal point of contact in Germany, collaborating closely with the UK Group Legal team to manage healthcare regulation, commercial contracts, and corporate governance in a fast-paced health-tech environment.
Key Eligibility Criteria- Qualification: Fully qualified lawyer in Germany (Volljurist/Volljuristin).
- Experience: Minimum 4+ years of PQE with experience operating as sole or lead counsel.
- Language: Professional fluency in both German and English (drafting and negotiation).
- Preferred: Prior experience in healthcare, life sciences, or regulated industries; experience with data protection (Datenschutzbeauftragter).
- Manage litigation risk, medicinal product/device compliance, and debt recovery.
- Advise on healthcare and AI regulation, including digital health platform development.
- Draft and negotiate German-law commercial agreements and vendor contracts.
- Oversee end-to-end GDPR/BDSG compliance and corporate governance.
- Provide guidance on German employment law, including hiring and works council requirements.
- Establish scalable legal operations, templates, and contract management tools.
Compensation: Not specified. The role includes benefits such as 28 days vacation, professional development budget, and flexible working hours.
Mode: Full-time, Hybrid (3 days/week in Berlin).
