Research Associate – IP, Data & Technology

• Collaborate across offices and jurisdictions as part of an interdisciplinary team focusing on technology contracting, digital regulation, data protection and intellectual property law
• Support the Intellectual Property, Data and Technology practice group with legal research and publications
• Support the provision of legal advice to national and international companies, corporate groups and public-sector institutions
• Support the procurement of complex technology solutions, including outsourcing arrangements
• Support compliance with digital-law regulatory requirements, including the AI Act, Data Act, Digital Services Act, DORA and BSIG
• Support data protection matters in national and international contexts
• Support matters relating to trademark, copyright and competition law, as well as legal issues concerning the protection of trade secrets

Requirements

• Successfully completed the First State Examination in Law or both the First and Second State Examinations in Law, achieving above-average results in each examination
• Interest in a longer-term position, for example alongside pursuing a doctorate
• Excellent English-language skills
• Strong interest in business and commercial matters
• Passionate team player
• Committed and proactive personality
