Head of Software Engineering

As Head of Software Engineering, you will take on key tasks in the further development of our successful En Eff Co ® software.

• You will take on the technical and disciplinary management of our development team (approx. 10 people, internal & external) and continue to expand the department.
• Together with our product development department, you will be responsible for the roadmap for En Eff Co ® and ensure that it is implemented on time and within budget.
• You will shape key architectural and technological decisions and ensure the long‑term scalability, quality, and security of our software.
• You will establish and optimize development, QA, and reporting processes (e.g., CI/CD, test strategy, code quality) and create transparency regarding progress and risks.
• You will work closely with management to strategically develop the software division (e.g., team building, make‑or‑buy decisions).
• You are familiar with our tech stack:
  React (TS), C#, MSSQL.

• You have successfully completed a degree in computer science, software engineering, or a comparable field.
• You have several years of experience in professional software development and have already been responsible for complex web or enterprise applications.
• You have already led an engineering team (at least 5 people).
• You have experience in setting up and further developing development organizations (e.g., scaling teams, introducing agile methods, integrating external service providers).
• You communicate confidently in written and spoken German and English and are comfortable interacting with developers, product managers, and senior management.
