Senior Android Engineer, Decisions Alliance; f​/m​/x

As a Senior Android Engineer, you will join a cross-functional team that is actively improving the Hello Fresh app. You will help with the challenges of scaling our app on a global level as new markets are supported every year. Your help will also be essential to improve our communication platform and its functionalities, such as push notifications and in-app and in-box messages.

• Create and build an excellent mobile experience for millions of users, who interact with our apps every week, having a direct impact on the acquisition, retention, and engagement of our customers
• Focus on delivering a smooth and pleasant user experience for both our customers and our internal users
• Take ownership of our engineering and process quality, our testing strategy, and the monitoring of the code
• Be part of true agile and solution-oriented squads, collaborating cross-functionally with Engineers, Designers, Product Owners, and Data Engineers
• Contribute to the learning and advancement of our Engineering Best Practices, as part of our Mobile Chapter, while offering mentorship to other colleagues

• You have relevant working experience working with Android development at a large scale engineering organization
• You have a strong experience and knowledge with Kotlin, as well as RESTful APIs
• You have a thorough knowledge of software development best practices, like Design Patterns, Clean Code, Agile Development, and Testing
• You are a Git and UNIX shell user
• Hands-on experience with Jetpack Compose (nice to have)

Knowing one or more of these will be a plus: mobile messaging (push notification, in-app, inbox) and integrations with marketing platforms like Salesforce.
