We’re eBay’s Native Mobile team — the group shaping how millions of users interact with eBay’s shipping experiences on iOS and Android. As our Native Engineering Manager, you’ll lead a talented group of mobile engineers driving the next generation of end-to-end shipping solutions. This is a hands‑on leadership role where you’ll influence architecture, guide technical strategy, and stay close to the code.

You’ll collaborate closely with product, design, and backend partners to deliver seamless mobile experiences that make shipping on eBay smarter and simpler.

• Lead and develop a team of skilled iOS and Android engineers, fostering technical excellence, innovation, and growth.
• Set and drive technical direction across both platforms, ensuring scalable, high-performance, and maintainable architecture.
• Stay hands‑on in iOS development — contributing to design reviews, architecture discussions, and implementation when needed.
• Partner cross‑functionally with product, design, and backend teams to deliver intuitive, end‑to‑end shipping experiences.
• Champion engineering best practices, including use of AI‑assisted development tools, automated testing, and modern CI/CD workflows.
• Balance short‑term delivery needs with long‑term architectural health to ensure sustainable product growth.
• Cultivate a culture of collaboration, curiosity, and continuous improvement within the engineering team.

• 10+ years of professional software development experience, with at least 7 years focused on native mobile (iOS and Android).
• Strong hands‑on expertise in iOS (Swift, UIKit, Swift
  
  UI, Combine) and a solid grasp of Android (Kotlin, Jetpack, Compose).
• 2+ years of experience leading or managing mobile engineering teams.
• Proven record of delivering impactful, large‑scale consumer mobile products.
• Deep knowledge of mobile architecture patterns (MVC, MVVM, MVI, VIPER, etc.).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across diverse teams and stakeholders.
• A passion for user experience, developer productivity, and building high‑quality products.
• Experience in e‑commerce or logistics is a plus.
