Your role will involve:

• Planning and designing software architecture that is scalable, robust, and flexible.
• Developing complex backend systems and APIs with PHP and the Symfony framework.
• Ensuring code quality through best practices, code reviews, and tests.
• Identifying and resolving performance issues, including optimizing database queries, caching strategies, and configuration improvements.
• Staying up-to-date with the latest developments in the PHP and Symfony world and introducing innovative ideas to the team.
• Supporting team members in problem-solving and further development of their skills.

We are looking for someone with:

• Extensive knowledge of Drupal, PHP, and Symfony development, as well as version control and best practices.
• The ability to design scalable, robust, and flexible software architectures.
• Experience in developing complex backend systems and APIs.
• A strong focus on code quality through best practices, code reviews, and tests.
• Additional knowledge of other e-commerce and/or content management systems such as Shopware or Spryker is an advantage.
• Excellent German and good English language skills.
