We seek a skilled Software Engineer In Test to join our team. This individual will independently deliver small to moderate projects, enhancing software quality, owning feature stories, and driving their implementation through effective task breakdown. This is a hybrid role requiring at least one day per week in the office.

• Assist the PO in analyzing and translating orthodontic software requirements into design specifications.
• Define supporting test scenarios and test cases; update and extend the test strategy as needed.
• Update medical device product documentation to ensure full test coverage and traceability.
• Perform integration, functional, system, and regression testing.
• Design and execute automated tests using frameworks like Java/Selenium and Postman API.
• Analyze and troubleshoot operational issues and customer needs.
• Identify defects, create and track bugs, and verify fixes.
• Collaborate with Development, Training, Customer Care, and Regulatory teams.
• Communicate solutions and fixes to relevant departments and customers.
• Monitor and report on software performance using tools like Splunk, Datadog, and AWS Cloud Watch.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.

• 3-5 years of software quality assurance/testing experience.
• Orthodontic domain knowledge.
• Knowledge of ISO 13485:2016, MDSAP, 21 CFR 820, and MDR.
• Experience with test management tools (e.g., Matrix Req. X-Rays).
• Experience with bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira).
• Experience in Test Automation (Java, Python).
• SQL/database and scripting skills.

• Attention to detail, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in English and German.
• Experience with agile/scrum methodologies.
• Intermediate programming skills focused on maintainable code.
• Knowledge of modern development architectures is advantageous.
• Understanding of software design patterns is a plus.
