Back End Developer

Backend Engineer with strong skills in AWS, Python and Type Script is sought after by the creators of a leading qualitative data analysis software that is used all over the world. • Design and maintain the AWS-based backend architecture.
• Build efficient Lambda functions using modern frameworks.
• Optimize backend performance and scalability, leveraging PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, and caching strategies.
• Implement and advocate for robust testing practices, including unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
• Uphold and evolve our development and documentation standards using tools like Poetry, Git Hub Actions, and Confluence.
• Manage and maintain interfaces between our core products, account system, and desktop applications.
• Collaborate closely with frontend developers, AI engineers, QA engineers, product managers, and UX/UI designers.
• Thrive in an agile environment and actively contribute to a supportive and collaborative team culture.

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in backend development with Python using frameworks like Django, Flask or FastAPI (they can consider mid-level up to senior)
• Strong knowledge of AWS services (e.g., Lambdas, S3) and are eager to deepen your AWS expertise.
• You bring solid experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, and ORM tools.
• You have practical experience with dependency management tools (Poetry, UV, PIP) and CI/CD using Git Hub Actions.
• You’ve worked in agile teams (Scrum or Kanban) and are comfortable with test automation.
• You understand software performance optimization, scalability, and design pattern implementation.
• You demonstrate strong initiative, excellent communication skills, and thrive in collaborative team environments.
• Annual salary of up to EUR
  85k depending on experience.
