Fullstack Product Engineer

Your responsibilities

At Plato we are building a data‑driven workflow platform that makes using an ERP system as easy and pleasant as using an iPhone. As a core member of our application team, you will create an unrivaled user experience across devices for a user base that has been underserved from a UX/UI perspective.

The AI‑driven interface is central to everything we do, so you will work closely with data science, product, design and engineering teams. The ideal candidate is a natural problem‑solver who takes initiative, implements new ways to analyze, implement and build upon product proposals, and can act as a full‑stack resource to fill gaps as needed.

• Build a superior UX/UI for a data‑driven vertical SaaS platform for wholesale distributors spending 50%+ of their daily work time.
• Design flexible, configurable interfaces that seamlessly display data from multiple ERP systems and data sources.
• Own features end‑to‑end: from product discussions to deployment and iteration based on user feedback and usage data.
• Build composable, reusable frontend components in Type Script/React for a complex data‑heavy application.
• Architect frontend and backend systems for performance, configurability and maintainability, including contributing to our Terraform infrastructure.
• Write high‑performance, real‑time ERP integrations (SAP, Dynamics, etc.) and support write‑back modules to many ERP systems.
• Work in lean cross‑functional teams spanning full‑stack engineers, data scientists, data engineers and product managers.
• Collaborate with product owners to shape and build features end‑to‑end with full ownership.
• Occasionally interact directly with customers to understand user needs and validate solutions.

• 3‑5 years of experience as a full‑stack Type Script developer; experience at a high‑growth tech company is a plus.
• Fluent in Type Script and React.
• Willing to work on‑site 4 days a week in our Berlin office.
• Comfortable working with PostgreSQL and understanding of data modeling concepts.
• Strong systems thinking and experience building complex, scalable applications with well‑architected components.
• Proficient in unit testing and front‑end testing frameworks such as Jest, Cypress, Jasmine, Mocha, etc.
• Experience with Terraform is a plus.
