Job SummarySenior Application Engineer (Salesforce Agentforce AI) designing and delivering AI agents and intelligent process automations. Self‑directed, collaborative, with continuous learning mindset.
Key Duties and Responsibilities- Architect and build AI agents using Agentforce and other AI platforms such as Microsoft Studio for CoPilot Agents.
- Pioneer intelligent automations in enterprise environments using IPA tools like Power Automate and Alteryx.
- Build test automations to improve QA efficiencies for Salesforce and other applications.
- Collaborate with product designers, end‑users, and other team members to refine AI use cases.
- Execute standard to complex tasks in the application development life‑cycle using Apex, JavaScript, Python, and other relevant languages.
- Perform unit tests for builds and create accurate test scripts for automated and manual testing.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and debug systems for standard issues.
- Champion AI adoption within the team to improve efficiency.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for all builds and AI agents.
- Onboard, mentor, and coach junior to intermediate application engineers, reviewing work and providing guidance.
- Perform other tasks and duties as assigned.
- Hands‑on experience building Agentforce AI agents, AI workflows, custom agent development, and integration of external data sources.
- Solid experience with Salesforce integrations and external system integrations (Conga, Docusign, Adobe, Marketo, Gainsight, Gong, Qualtrics, Kantata, Task Ray).
- Working experience with Workday platform highly desired.
- Experience creating intelligent process automations using tools like Power Automate.
- Experience writing clean code in JavaScript, Apex, Python, etc., that performs well at scale.
- Proficiency in Dev Ops processes and tools (e.g., Copado, Auto Rabit).
- Proficiency in Git Hub and troubleshooting versioning and Dev Ops issues.
- Proficiency in Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
- Experience with automated testing frameworks (PMD, Selenium, Copado CRT).
- In‑depth understanding of Salesforce data models, security, and governor limits.
- Excellent organization, critical‑thinking and self‑management skills.
- Continuous learner who enjoys sharing knowledge.
- Solid team player and coach, collaborating across BA, QA, and Operations.
- Strong communication skills, able to persuade stakeholders on alternate viewpoints.
- Proven experience as an intermediate application engineer.
- Salesforce Certified Agentforce Specialist
- Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I & II (required)
- Salesforce Advanced Administrator (required)
- Salesforce Certified Application/Systems Architect (desired)
- BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Experience building AI agents on other AI platforms.
- Experience in teams operating using the Product Operating Model.
- Experience with SaaS products.
- Experience with Salesforce Lightning Design System (SLDS) or UI frameworks like React, Vue.js, or Angular.
- Understanding of Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Revenue Cloud, Agentforce, and Einstein.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or other cloud platforms.
- Experience with SOA and SaaS product development.
- Knowledge of SAML, OAuth, and OpenID Connect.
- Experience with on‑call responsibilities for production‑grade systems.
- Understanding of team dysfunctions and how to address them.
