VP Engineering

• Build and lead the engineering organisation behind the AI platform
• Own engineering delivery from architecture through production
• Turn product requirements into pragmatic technical designs and execution plans
• Raise quality, reliability, security and engineering excellence
• Stay hands‑on through architecture, critical implementation and technical leadership
• Take validated AI concepts into reliable, scalable and maintainable software

• Experience building and leading engineering teams in a fast‑moving product company
• Track record taking products from prototype to production
• Experience scaling engineering teams, processes and technical foundations from early stage through growth
• Strong engineering judgment across modern Python‑based backend systems, cloud infrastructure, distributed systems and AI‑enabled products
• Experience building and operating LLM or agentic systems in production, including evaluation, guardrails and failure handling
• Proficiency using modern AI coding tools and reviewing and quality‑controlling AI‑generated code
• Evidence of fast, high‑quality decision‑making under ambiguity, including deciding what not to build
• Experience in healthcare, clinical workflows, FHIR, regulated or safety‑critical software, or enterprise software deployments is advantageous but not required
• Excellent written and spoken English
• German is a plus, but not required
