Senior Backend Engineer – Python, TypeScript

• Design and further develop the backend architecture with a focus on reliability and scalability
• Design and implement backend features and APIs
• Build reliable data systems using PostgreSQL, SQL, and Prisma
• Develop robust AI workflows and real-time functionality
• Improve production stability, monitoring, and incident analysis
• Ensure security and compliance across all backend services
• Collaborate closely with the team to deliver high-quality features quickly
• Take substantial ownership of backend architecture, AI workflows, and product development

• At least 3 years of solid experience in backend development
• Demonstrated ability to make sound architectural decisions in cloud and distributed systems
• Strong knowledge of relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL and SQL
• Professional experience with Type Script/NestJS and/or Python/FastAPI
• Experience taking responsibility for production operations
• Strong debugging skills and a security-conscious mindset
• High level of ownership, initiative, and ability to work effectively in a team
• C1-level proficiency in English and German
• Demonstrated evidence of exceptional technical ability and talent
