In this role you will work on the tooling of Qt, the world’s leading cross‑platform C++ framework. Qt enables writing powerful applications on many platforms, from embedded to desktop and mobile. You will join a skilled team that focuses on the build process and related tooling, tackling unique challenges to make the build and packaging process of Qt, and of applications using Qt, convenient and powerful.

You will also be part of a vibrant community of Qt contributors and users that exchange new ideas, insights, and contributions.

• Write robust, modern C++ and CMake code
• Work independently, managing your tasks and projects
• Focus on quality: continuous integration, testing, and code reviews
• Use the languages and tools required for the complete delivery of a feature or functionality
• Regularly use software engineering practices such as debugging, profiling, version control, and automated testing
• Work with publicly available code and materials
• Work on existing code across the product and on an architectural level
• Collaborate across different teams and products
• Help others in their development tasks and are capable of leading a development project

• Experience with CMake is a must
• Experience with C++ and a scripting language
• Experience with at least one development platform (Windows, Linux, macOS)
• Have a focus on quality – continuous integration, testing, and code reviews
• Advanced English communication skills, both verbal and written (English is our corporate language)

• Experience in contributing to open-source projects
• Experience with different target platforms and cross-compilation
