FYTA is a Berlin-based nature-tech company building an intelligence layer for plants and soil. Its modular sensors collect plant and soil health data, which the company uses to develop machine-learning models that provide context-aware care decisions for home plant enthusiasts and professional growers.

• Build and evolve the FYTA consumer app in Flutter for iOS and Android, including features, UI, and performance improvements
• Build and evolve the FYTA business app in Java script/React
• Develop the connectivity layer between the app and sensors over Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), including native components in Kotlin for Android and Swift for iOS
• Turn sensor data and ML model outputs into clear, intuitive interfaces in collaboration with the designer and backend team
• Improve performance, offline behavior, and reliability on real devices
• Own features end to end, from idea to release, and help shape the app's future direction

• Strong Flutter/Dart and Java script/React experience, including shipping and maintaining production apps
• Solid understanding of mobile app architecture, state management, and performance
• Commitment to code quality through TDD or other effective test coverage
• Good eye for UX and how products feel to use
• Proactive ownership mindset: identify problems, propose solutions, and work independently
• Fluent in English and generally good communication skills
• Must already be based in Germany and authorized to work there
• Candidates who do not enjoy working with people from diverse backgrounds and experiences are not a fit for this role
