We are Ryanair Engineering Germany GmbH, a 100% subsidiary of Ryanair, located at Berlin Brandenburg Airport BER. Founded in 2018, we operate a fleet of 590 modern Boeing 737NG, 737-8200 Game Changer, and Airbus A320 aircraft. Our engineers and mechanics maintain all Ryanair aircraft across multiple German stations.

Responsibilities

Supervision and oversight of the hangar staff and facility.

Ensure health and safety regulations are complied with in full.

Maintain serviceability and appearance of equipment, facilities, and premises to a high standard.

Document all tasks in accordance with company and legislative requirements (CAME, MOE, line & base handbook, materials handbook, company policies, etc.).

Communicate aircraft status immediately and closely.

Supervise, direct, and manage resources to achieve the most efficient and cost‑effective maintenance during assigned shift hours and team leadership.

Perform additional individual tasks or special assignments as assigned by the Station Manager or Head of Technical Operations.

The Hangar Manager Role Includes

Control the aircraft spares shortage list and authorize orders for high‑cost spare parts.
Take part in aircraft maintenance duties or conduct certifying and support staff activities as approved by the Base Maintenance Manager.
Audit hangar and facilities in accordance with company procedures.
Allocate engineering staff to cover maintenance services activities out of hours for contracted customers.
Assist with planned scheduled maintenance.
Promote SMS principles in the hangar.
Arrange and manage aircraft pre‑check input meetings and keep the Base Maintenance Manager fully informed.
Ensure all documentation is completed correctly before the work day/shift ends and hand over any work in progress.
Respond to quality deficiencies arising from independent quality audits.
Ensure the quality of workmanship in the final product is acceptable to the organisation and EASA.
Support Check Supervisors to achieve a high standard of control and workmanship.

Requirements

Hold an EASA PART 66 CAT B1 and C licence with a Boeing B737NG
at least; preferably B737NG
, B737MA
X or Airbus A320.
Have at least six months work experience on type during the last two years.
Excellent communication skills – fluent English is essential.
Good computer literacy.
Willing to work shift.
A valid EU/EEA passport with unrestricted right to live and work in the EU and a valid EU driver’s licence.
Preferably a valid German security clearance according to German Aviation Security Act.
