We’re looking to strengthen our team at our Berlin facility with a:
Station Manager (m/f/d) (11430-1/2025)
Your Responsibilities
As a Station Manager, you will have the opportunity to:
- lead the station’s employees in both technical and disciplinary matters, thereby ensuring the efficient, cost‑effective, and high‑quality maintenance of our customers’ aircraft
- Manage staff deployment, create work schedules as part of this process, and ensure that assigned tasks are carried out by appropriately qualified employees. You will also maintain accurate records (shift reports)
- Conduct performance reviews and plan the professional development of individual employees in collaboration with your supervisor. When necessary, you will also initiate disciplinary measures in consultation with your supervisor, thereby promoting the personal and professional development of your employees.
- To assume responsibility for compliance with all regulations and laws regarding occupational safety, working hours, and fire prevention, thereby creating and maintaining a modern, safe, and healthy work environment
- Ensure a timely flow of information with MOC/MCC and technicians regarding clear or unclear status reports for an aircraft, and initiate the necessary measures in the event of an AOG or malfunction
- Provide regular reports and feedback to your supervisor
- Assist with or personally handle applications for temporary airport passes for off‑site personnel
- Take responsibility for ensuring that work is completed on time and track the processing status of the services we provide to our customers. At the same time, you will verify and review the technical documentation and all CWOs for completeness and correct them as necessary so that all services can be billed accurately
- Independently perform maintenance and repair work on the aircraft types we service, in compliance with all relevant applicable regulations and within the scope of your qualifications, thereby directly contributing to aviation safety and maintaining your license and qualifications
You’re the right fit for us if...
- You have completed vocational training in an aviation‑related field or have acquired comparable knowledge through many years of professional experience
- You hold an AML in accordance with EASA Part‑66 as a Certifying Technician CAT B1
- You have several years of experience in the maintenance and repair of civil aircraft in the areas of line or base maintenance
- You have several years of verifiable leadership experience managing technical units with budgetary and aviation regulatory responsibilities
- You have very good knowledge of aviation regulations, aviation quality management systems, EASA regulations, and occupational safety laws and regulations
- You have very good written and spoken English and German language skills, including proficiency in business correspondence
- You have excellent knowledge of MS Office and AMOS
- You possess strong communication skills, as well as empathy and sound judgment
- You have strong natural leadership and interpersonal skills
- You possess strong decision‑making skills and the ability to assert yourself
- You have a strong sense of duty, quality, and responsibility
- You are completely trustworthy and loyal
- You are highly flexible, enjoy working in a team, and are highly customer‑oriented
- You are fully capable of working shifts
- You hold a Class 3/B driver’s license
- You are also willing to travel outside of regular working hours
