We are looking for an experienced Account Executive to join our Growth Team in Germany. Airwallex aspires to partner with the most ambitious businesses globally. The Growth Sales Team is where this partnership begins. Your primary focus will be bringing on new customers in Germany and leveraging your skills in pitching, negotiating and driving internal processes to set up our partnerships for success.

We’re looking for someone with an entrepreneurial, builder mindset who can develop a territory from the ground up, has a passion for building relationships, selling, and negotiating, and a desire to revolutionize the way companies transact globally.

Our Germany team is growing; we operate in a hybrid work environment with 3 days per week required in our local office in Berlin.

What You'll Be Doing...
  • Owning the full sales cycle and territory management from prospecting to close, building Germany pipeline from the ground up with a focused, AI‑assisted outbound motion and tight SDR/Marketing collaboration.

  • Be accountable for increasing revenue and new client acquisition across Germany, with disciplined pipeline creation, coverage, and conversion.

  • Representing Airwallex at client meetings and events across Germany/DACH (some travel required), tailoring narratives to buyer needs.

  • Meticulous CRM usage and forecasting, with high data hygiene and repeatable operating cadence expected in a new‑market build.

What You Bring...
  • 3+ years of sales experience, preferably selling a technical product, with a track record of top performance, supported by at least 2+ years in an outbound role before that; experience launching a new territory/market and building pipeline from scratch is a strong plus.

  • Ability to understand complex technical requirements and craft solutions across multiple products (e.g., accounts, FX, payments, cards) to solve customer finance and payments problems.

  • Passionate about sales with the ability to develop and execute territory plans; comfortable designing and iterating playbooks for Germany.

  • Strong presentation and communication skills, particularly for in‑person meetings with multiple stakeholders (CXO), in German and English.
