Responsibilities
- Conduct insurance risk management surveys on a range of moderate to complex risks
- Execute risk management consultations at policyholders’ premises
- Develop risk management program recommendations based on observations
- Initiate, provide, and share resources with policyholders and agency customers on risk management topics and trends
- Provide quantitative/qualitative analysis with conclusions to drive customer service objectives
- Manage workload assignments to attain agency customer engagement activities
- Collaborate with underwriting and claims in new business acquisition and account retention
- Conduct training sessions for the policyholder and agency customers
- Serve as an advisor on risk management matters
- Participate in assigned work groups supporting profitability and service delivery
- Bachelor’s degree in risk management or a related field with advanced certification/designation (CSP, ARM, CRM, CIC, CPCU) preferred
- 5 or more years of experience in safety, risk management or related industry
- High acumen with business computer applications including MS Office products and other industry platforms
- Demonstrated successful ability to build positive relationships and partnerships within department, across the organization and with external customers
- Well-developed conflict resolution skills
- Excellent organizational skills, including ability to multi-task and prioritize workload
- Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, analytical, and decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently but collaboratively
