The Role

We are looking for a highly independent and solution-oriented personality as a Senior Commercial Operations Specialist to strengthen our growing team in Germany.

This is not a classic internal sales or pure administration role. Rather, it is a central operational key position at the interface of customer service, commercial coordination and process optimization.

You will act as an operational backbone between customers, account management, service teams, production sites and internal stakeholders and ensure that projects, requests, offers, service contracts and operational processes are implemented smoothly end-to-end.

You will play an important role in actively shaping and improving structures and processes in a dynamic and constantly evolving environment.

The role unites:

• Customer coordination,
• commercial administration,
• Litigation responsibility,
• as well as informal operational management.

Core Focus:

• Process analysis & end-to-end optimization:
  Identification of bottlenecks in the 7 order types;
  Streamline and automate manual workflows.
• Technical leadership & guiding:
  Onboarding, coaching of specialists/working students and establishment of best practices.
• Deputy:
  Informal operational representation of the management.

Commercial & Customer Operations

• Independent support and management of customer inquiries and commercial processes end-to-end.
• Preparation and management of quotations, invoices, orders and service-related documentation.
• Coordination of spare parts, service calls and maintenance contracts.
• Reliable contact for customers as well as internal stakeholders.

Operative Koordination & Ownership

• Independent takeover of operational issues and proactive solution finding.
• Independent handling of special cases and decision-making within the area of responsibility.
• Coordinate priorities, timelines, and operational follow-ups across different teams.
• Guiding, coaching and professional onboarding for specialists, juniors and working students.

Process Optimization & Continuous Improvement

• Identification of inefficiencies and active optimization of operational processes.
• Collaborate on automation initiatives and improve tools and workflows.
• Support in setting up scalable processes and efficient ways of working in a changing organization.
• Expansion of clear guidelines, process documentation and best practices for day-to-day business.
• Support and professional guidance of junior team members and working students in everyday operations.
• Help solve operational challenges and share best practices.
• Function as an experienced operational sparring partner within the team.
• Helping to build structure, clarity and stability in a dynamic environment.

Experience & Mindset

• Several years of experience in Commercial Operations, Lean/Process Management, Sales Operations, Customer Operations, Service Administration or in a comparable operational role.
• High level of personal responsibility as well as the ability to work independently and take ownership.
