Senior Technical Product Manager - Carbon and Environmental Models

• Lead a cross functional team of Soil Scientists and Software Engineers to develop and implement SOC models as the foundation of Klim’s platform
• Own and drive the product roadmap for carbon, biodiversity, and broader soil science and agronomic models
• Expand Klim’s modelling capabilities beyond carbon into crop and agronomic insights, and over time into economic models such as farm level P&L
• Contribute to the commercial scalability of Klim’s solutions and support large scale decarbonisation of agricultural supply chains

• Translate scientific models into clear product requirements and features
• Align modelling work with product and company goals
• Drive execution from concept to production
• Develop a strong understanding of underlying models to effectively guide product decisions and challenge assumptions
• Model Development, Carbon and Beyond
• Improve accuracy and scalability of carbon models as the core system
• Expand models to include agronomic metrics, new practices, and new geographies
• Identify and prioritise additional soil science or environmental metrics
• Compliance and Scientific Integrity
• Ensure alignment with key standards such as VERRA VM0042, GHG Protocol, SustainCERT, SAI RTF and ISOMETRIC
• Work with internal and external stakeholders to maintain compliance and scientific credibility
• Team Leadership and Execution
• Lead and prioritise the work of a cross functional team of scientists and engineers
• Ensure effective collaboration between scientific development and product implementation
• Create clarity on priorities and trade offs
• Cross Functional Alignment
• Partner with MRV to ensure models meet regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with Farmer Sales to ensure consistency with field data
• Align with other product teams to integrate models into the platform
• Incorporate client and market insights into product decisions to maximise commercial impact

• 3 to 6 years of product management experience, ideally in data/scientific heavy or technical products
• Proven track record of shipping products end to end
• Experience running development cycles and sprints
• Strong prioritization and problem solving
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast changing environment with evolving requirements and constraints

• Ability to shape short to long term product strategy
• Prioritise features based on impact, feasibility, and regulatory constraints
• Adapt to evolving regulations and markets

• Translate complex technical topics for non technical audiences
• Align multiple stakeholders across functions
• Strong communication skills

• Strong ability to understand complex models at a high level, including their assumptions, limitations, and implications for product decisions
• Degree in a quantitative or analytical field such as physics, engineering, environmental science, mathematics, or similar is a strong plus
