About the Role

We are looking for a skilled C++ Software Engineer to join a forward‑thinking development team building high‑performance applications and platforms for technical, industrial, and scientific environments.

You will work on complex software systems involving modern C++, multi‑threading, data processing, algorithms, and robust application design.

Your Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high‑quality C++ applications using modern standards (C++14/17/20)
• Participate in architecture design
  , software planning, and technical decision‑making
• Implement new features, algorithms, and system components with a focus on performance and reliability
• Analyse and optimise existing codebases to improve speed, scalability, and robustness
• Contribute to unit testing
  , debugging, code reviews, and CI/CD workflows
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (backend, embedded, UX, QA, hardware)
• Document technical concepts, designs, and best practices

Your Profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics
  , or a related technical field
• 2–6 years of professional experience in C++ development

Strong understanding of:

• Modern C++ (C++14/17/20)
• STL, Boost, or other modern libraries
• Object‑oriented design and software architecture
• Data structures, algorithms, and design patterns
• Multithreading and concurrency concepts

Experience with build and development tools such as:

• Familiarity with Linux or Windows development environments

Bonus experience (not required):

• Qt/QML or GUI frameworks
• Network programming (TCP/IP, IPC, REST)
• Real‑time or embedded systems
• Simulation, computational modelling, or high‑performance computing
• Strong analytical mindset and problem‑solving ability
• Good communication skills in English;
  German is beneficial
