Manufacturing MES Business Analyst

We are looking for an experienced Manufacturing MES Business Analyst with strong expertise in Inductive Automation Ignition and manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between business stakeholders, shop floor operations, IT/OT teams, and technical delivery teams, translating manufacturing requirements into scalable MES solutions.

• Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements for MES solutions.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Operations, Quality, and IT stakeholders.
• Translate business and shop floor requirements into functional and technical specifications.
• Create user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
• Support the design, enhancement, and deployment of Ignition-based MES solutions.
• Identify opportunities for process standardization and continuous improvement across manufacturing sites.
• Support testing, user acceptance, and solution rollout activities.

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in Manufacturing, MES, or Industrial IT environments.
• Hands-on experience with Inductive Automation Ignition

• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, including:
• Production Execution
• OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness)
• Downtime Tracking
• Quality Management Processes
• Shop Floor Operations
• Experience working in IT/OT integrated environments.
• Ability to convert business requirements into functional and technical requirements.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel to Bonn, approximately one week per month.

• Experience with MES implementation or transformation projects.
• Knowledge of Manufacturing 4.0 and Smart Factory initiatives.
• Experience working across multiple manufacturing plants.
