- Carrying out inspection, maintenance and repair work on wind turbine rotor blades and other components, such as tower and nacelle, using rope access, both nationally and internationally
- Analysing and assessing rotor blade damage and initiating appropriate repair and maintenance measures
- Performing professional repairs on GRP and CFRP components, including core material replacement, laminating work and surface treatment, as well as replacing and retrofitting aerodynamic components such as vortex generators and serrations
- Inspecting and repairing lightning protection systems on wind turbine rotor blades
- Providing clear and comprehensive documentation of all work performed, including detailed damage and repair photographs, repair reports and service documentation
- Complying with all applicable safety, quality and environmental standards
- Working closely with service teams and project managers
- Supporting the preparation and completion of projects, including material checks, tool inspections and site organisation
Requirements
- Qualification in rope access (FISAT or IRATA certification)
- Strong technical understanding and good practical skills
- Physically fit and comfortable working at height
- High willingness to travel for projecs both nationally and internationally
- Strong safety awareness and a responsible, self-motivated approach to work
- Good German and/or English language skills
- Team spirit with a reliable and independent way of working
- Valid driving licence (Class
B)
- Completed technical trainings or apprenticeship in the field of fibre-reinforced composites, e.g. plastics technician or boat builder
- Knowledge and experience in the processing of fibre-reinforced composite materials
- Experience in rotor blade service, wind energy or a comparable technical background
- GWO training and/or SCC/VCA certification
- Valid driving licence (Class BE)
