IT Specialist, Server

• Continuously maintain and further develop customers' server infrastructures
• Ensure stable IT operations and high system availability
• Install, configure and administer server environments in 2nd- and 3rd-level support
• Administer Microsoft Active Directory and AD-based services such as DNS and DHCP
• Plan, coordinate and oversee backup, restore and recovery processes
• Troubleshoot IT operational incidents
• Create and maintain technical documentation
• Support the continuous optimization of operational processes
• Plan and accompany migrations and release changes
• Work closely with specialists from adjacent departments and external service providers

• Completed training as an IT specialist for system integration, IT systems electronics technician, or comparable training in the field of IT
• Very good knowledge in installing and operating servers
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Exchange
• Good knowledge of virtualization layer
• Solid knowledge of Citrix technologies, particularly Virtual Apps & Desktops (CVAD), Citrix Workspace, Store Front, Director, Studio, Citrix Gateway (Net Scaler), Citrix ADC
• Knowledge of Citrix Provisioning Services (PVS), Machine Creation Services (MCS), Profile Management, Workspace Environment Management (WEM) and Citrix Licensing
• Desirable knowledge in software packaging and scripting with VBS and Power Shell
• Structured, independent and solution-oriented way of working
• Interest in professional and technological development through training and challenging projects
• Very good German skills and good English skills, both written and spoken

Demonstrates expertise in server infrastructure maintenance, administration of Microsoft Active Directory, and Citrix technologies, ensuring high system availability and effective IT operations. Proficient in troubleshooting, technical documentation, and process optimization with strong communication skills in German and English.
