We are currently seeking an Application Developer for a client in the maritime industry in Bremen.

Responsibilities include:

Independent development of software components for sonar systems;
Analysis of sonar function requirements, design of corresponding software components and their implementation;
Conceptualization of algorithms and evaluation of their applicability for use in the software components;
Creation of specifications, design and test descriptions;
Execution of tests on the software components and error analysis in the target system;
Maintenance of existing software components and implementation of your own ideas for redesign;
Presentation of results to various target groups within the system development process or during the acquisition phase;
Monitoring of technological trends and participation in their implementation within the company.

• Erfolgreich abgeschlossenes Studium der Fachrichtung Informatik, Elektrotechnik, Nachrichtentechnik, Mathematik oder Physik
• Erste Berufserfahrung in der Softwareentwicklung
• Erste Erfahrung in den Bereichen Design, Tests, Build (CMake) oder fortlaufende Integration von Software (CI/CD), bevorzugt mit Git Lab
• Fundierte Kenntnisse in objektorientierter Softwareentwicklung mit modernem C++
• Versiert in der Umsetzung mathematischen Algorithmen in effiziente Software
• Idealerweise erste Erfahrung im Bereich digitale Signalverarbeitung oder Sonar-Processing (z.

• Gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift
