Senior Software Developer - Algorithms and Data Fusion

For our renowned client, we are looking for you to join us!

• Documenting the software components within your area of responsibility
• Integrating software subsystems consisting of multiple software components, including integration into the target system
• Supporting system integration and collaborating on real-time, distributed system architectures
• Documenting software subsystem specifications for third-party software development, including providing technical leadership
• Providing technical leadership to software developers (Levels 1, 2, 3, and
  4) as well as students, including the supervision of Bachelor's, Master's, and Diploma theses
• Strategically advancing the technical topics within your designated domain.
• Developing modular and scalable data fusion frameworks
• Processing, synchronizing, and fusing heterogeneous data and sensor sources

• Successfully completed Master’s degree in Computer Science or a comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in software development and collaboration on large-scale software projects
• Several years of experience providing technical leadership within software development
• Excellent programming and design skills in an object-oriented programming language, with particularly strong proficiency in C++
• In-depth knowledge of algorithms and methods for data fusion (e.g., Kalman filters, synchronization, probabilistic data fusion) - (must have)
• Experience with multi-threading and low-latency systems, along with knowledge of DDS-based communication (must have)
• Deep understanding of complex overall systems and software architecture, with a focus on robust, maintainable, and extensible software solutions
• Analytical, structured, and solution-oriented approach to work, coupled with a high degree of ownership for architectural and technological decisions
• German OR English, both written and spoken, minimum C1 level
• Willingness to relocate to Bremen if necessary (work is predominantly based in Bremen; relocation is required for applicants residing outside the commuting area)
