Senior Test Developer (Power Electronics) - Chemnitz Area, Germany - Up to €75,000 (d/m/w)

Based in the Chemnitz area of the Sachsen region, an international market-leader is offering an exciting Senior Test Engineer position with a focus on Power Electronics.

Specializing in Power Electronics, this company develops and manufactures world-renowned, high-tech products for a variety of industries. They urgently require a Senior Test Engineer to join their department and utilize their specialist skills to fuel the progression of the company.

• Development and enhancement of testing systems for functional and end-of-line verification of power electronic assemblies (chargers, switching power supplies, and motor controllers within in-house production)
• Creation of testing strategies and methodologies in collaboration with customers and product development engineers
• Integration of test procedures on the respective test systems
• Analysis of test data, fault identification, and continuous improvement of implemented solutions
• “Partial” Project Management responsibility for test systems, including technical coordination

• Completed a degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or similar
• 3+ years experience in the testing of Power Supplies, especially PFC circuits and its corresponding topologies
• Experience creating test strategies and integrating test procedures in the domain of Power Electronics
• Excellent knowledge of BMS, Power Supplies for battery charging, and Converters (up to 40kW)
• Experience and knowledge in 230V Electric Grid supplies
• Fluency in German is mandatory
