Senior Hardware Engineer (m/f/d)

We are looking for a full‑time or part-Day Engineer to join the Flexoptix team. This role focuses on the development and validation of analogue and digital circuits and the overall hardware architecture for optical and electronic products.

• Design analogue and digital circuits with full consideration of EMC and EMI requirements (CE, FCC, IC, RED, ...).
• Validate and test optical and electrical aspects of our product offerings.
• Participate in defining the hardware architecture, concepts and specifications.
• Support product manufacturing throughout the lifecycle, including necessary documentation.
• Conduct research, development, laboratory work and prototyping activities.
• Take responsibility for international certification (EMC, battery, product safety: UL/CSA/ETL).

• Completed degree in electrical engineering or comparable qualification.
• Several years of experience in high‑speed design, power and signal integrity and EMC‑compliant design.
• Familiarity with micro‑controllers and serial interfaces (USB, SPI, UART, I²C, ...).
• Altium Designer).
• Experience designing power supply circuits and battery‑powered devices.
• Basic programming skills and/or mechanical 3D design experience is a plus.
• Independent, decisive, problem‑solving, and team‑oriented work style.
• Excellent English communication skills;
  German language skills are an asset.
