Korro AI is working on shaping the future of children’s healthcare. Our mission is to offer comprehensive health, behavioral care, and well‑being services easily accessible to every child. We leverage AI and computer vision technology to provide in‑depth analysis and to support integrated and personalized services. We supplement in‑person clinical care by offering health care providers a platform designed to monitor progress in‑and outside their clinic.

The Engineering group of Korro AI is developing the underlying engine, general infrastructure and platform as well as the customer facing products and experiences. We are using latest AI and Computer Vision methodologies and a broad spectrum of modern technologies to provide our customers reliable, secure and cutting‑edge products.

When joining our R&D organization you will lead software development and own our release train for our Unity‑based mobile applications (Android & iOS) and related web applications. You will support shaping the engineering roadmap, managing an international, cross‑cultural team, implementing agile delivery, governing versioning/branching, and running predictable, compliant releases to the Google Play Store, Apple App Store/Test Flight, and web environments.

The position is in Darmstadt, Germany. You will report to the CEngO (Chief Engineering Officer). Work mode is hybrid with 3+ days presence in office a week.

• Minimum 5-8 years of engineering leadership for mobile apps and web applications.
• Proven track record shipping mobile apps to Google Play and Apple App Store
• Experience with working on the intersection of product, QA and engineering teams
• Experience with CI/CD for Unity and web, release calendars, versioning and branching (e.g., trunk‑based or Git Flow).
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English; experience leading distributed, international teams
• Solid understanding of security, privacy and GDPR; collaboration with QA; automated testing oversight; observability and incident response.

• Development experience in Python, C# (Unity), Kotlin or Flutter
• Feature flags/remote configuration, A/B testing, and mobile performance tuning.
• Experience in regulated domains (healthcare, finance) and with vendor/budget management.
• Hands‑on leadership.
• Systems thinker who can move from strategy to build/release details.
• Data‑driven, calm under pressure, and accountable for results.
