Germany-based rocketry startup currently in stealth mode, scaling up rapidly to meet the demand for high-performance, reliable, and scalable solid propulsion technologies for space and defense applications. Already launching suborbital and ballistic rockets on a regular basis, generating significant revenue and applying our knowledge toward the development of an orbital rocket

As a Procurement Specialist, you will take a hands‑on role in managing purchasing activities, developing supplier relationships, supporting negotiations, and coordinating contracts across the business. You will help build scalable procurement processes, designed to work within a growing industrial and manufacturing environment. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure the timely, cost-effective, and compliant delivery of materials and services.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end purchasing activities, including requirements, quotations, purchase orders, and delivery follow‑up.
• Build and manage supplier relationships, support negotiations, and monitor supplier performance.
• Coordinate supplier contracts, documentation, renewals, and commercial issue resolution.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and collaborate with finance, operations, engineering, and quality teams.
• Help establish standardized procurement processes as purchasing activities move into a structured procurement function.
• Support the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations and ensure procurement activities follow company policies and compliance requirements.

What we're looking for:

• Proven procurement experience in an industrial, manufacturing, engineering, aerospace, defence or similar high-stakes, high-reliability environment.
• Strong communication and relationship‑management skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively across functions.
• Strong organisational and analytical skills, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
• A hands‑on, pragmatic approach to solving operational and supplier‑related challenges.
• Desirable experience using an ERP system such as SAP or Microsoft Dynamics. Experience with procurement process improvement, ERP implementation, or structured procurement controls
