Interventional Radiologist - $775,000 / yr

We are seeking an Interventional Radiologist to practice in Landstuhl, Germany.

Relocation is provided. Pay is U.S. taxes only. A U.S. medical license (any state or DC) and right to work in Germany are required.

• Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from an LCME‑approved U.S. or Canadian medical school, or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) from an AOA‑approved school, or equivalent foreign medical school with documented equivalence.
• Completed internship and residency in Diagnostic Radiology and a fellowship in Interventional Radiology approved by ACGME or the OMA Postdoctoral Training Committee.
• Valid, unrestricted license to practice medicine in one of the 50 U.S. states and/or the District of Columbia. Current DEA registration and National Provider Identifier (NPI) required.
• Board certified in Radiology and Interventional Radiology by the American Board of Radiology.
• Minimum two years post‑fellowship experience in interventional radiology within the last three years.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Eligibility for MTF Credentialing Committee and privileges granted by MTF Commander.

• Provide full range of interventional radiology and diagnostic radiology services in accordance with privileges granted by the MTF.
• Perform fluoroscopic and special radiographic procedures including plain film, fluoroscopy, ultrasound (US), MRI, angiography, CT, and pediatric radiology.
• Assist or instruct other healthcare professionals within the scope of clinical privileges.
• Order diagnostic tests and request consultations or referrals to appropriate physicians, clinics, or health resources.
• Admit patients to the hospital as appropriate and provide inpatient follow‑up including chart review, progress notes, and discharge as needed.
• Respond to emergency interventional radiology consultations within one hour and routine consultations within 24 hours.
• Maintain endovascular/interventional radiology capability to provide hemorrhage control procedures within 60 minutes of request as required for a level‑II trauma center.
• Provide on‑call coverage for daytime, nighttime, weekend, and federal holidays as agreed with radiology and surgical services.
