As an Anatomic Pathologist
, you will be responsible for microscopic examination of anatomic pathology specimens and preparation of pathology reports in a timely manner.

• Meet caseload and turnaround expectations.
• Provide telephone consultations to clients.
• Consult with and assist other pathologists.
• Interact with and advise laboratory personnel.
• Promote the growth of IDEXX by actively participating in pathologist meetings and developing and maintaining professional relationships/contact with clients.
• Participate in the quality control programs.
• Maintain proficiency and develop diagnostic skills through regular continuing education.

Time may be provided off of routine diagnostic responsibilities to allow the pathologist to engage in other professional activities as approved by management. Such activities should improve the function or professional reputation of IDEXX. CPD is enabled.

• Fluency in German and English language; further languages are an advantage.
• You are a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent. Pathology Board Certified - American College of Veterinary Pathology (ACVP) or European College of Veterinary Pathology (ECVP) preferred. Fachtierarzt für Pathologie / Fachtierärztin für Pathologie also considered.
• Familiar with current topics and issues in clinical veterinary medicine.
• Experience with speech recognition software for dictation preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and interpersonal capabilities.
• Ability to work independently on routine tasks.
• Experience in a veterinary diagnostic laboratory preferred.
• Service-oriented attitude.
• Ability to organize and prioritize work.
• Computer skills required.
• When working remotely, need access to broadband and stable internet (50 Mbit).
