Shape the base of any team by becoming a trusted player and business partner. By communicating and collaborating with other departments, PUMA Finance is involved in shaping the most fundamental processes and supporting strategic decision making.

• Coordination and creation of monthly, quarterly and yearend closings
• Leading GL accounting team
• Account assignment and posting of business transactions in general ledger, fixed assets, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and bank accounting
• Payment processing (manual bank transfers, direct debit runs, and payment runs)
• Credit management, dunning processes, and master data maintenance
• Accounting assessment and treatment of tax-related cases
• Account reconciliations and clearing of differences
• Impairment of shares
• Participation in projects, also in cooperation with other departments
• Point of contact for internal and external stakeholders as well as external auditors
• Contact person for German local GAAP (HGB) and IFRS

• Completed training as a certified accountant (Bilanzbuchhalter), alternatively a bachelor's degree in finance
• At least 3 years of professional experience in finance and accounting
• Leadership experience is an advantage
• Experience with SAP R/3, SAP S4/Hana is an advantage
• Very good MS Office knowledge
• Excellent knowledge of German and English
• Independent work and structured way of working
• High commitment and flexibility, service-oriented, reliable, team player
• Analytical skills, high affinity with numbers
• Cross-departmental thinking and communication is required.
