About the Company and Role

Kardex Auto Store is a global leader in high‑speed Automatic Storage and Retrieval Systems (ASRS), boosting storage capacity by up to four times. We are looking for Technical Experts Level3 for our Auto Store business unit in the DACH region. The role starts in Q22026. The Technical Expert works in a startup environment and supports the growth of the overall team, participating in specification phases, improving processes and templates, defining strategies, commissioning IT systems/hardware, and working with the Project Manager during installation.

They also support customers on site, configuring components and supervising storage of containers.

• Provide 3rd‑level technical support for local service technicians on Auto Store systems, on‑site and remotely, including troubleshooting and fault resolution.
• Train local technicians in maintenance, software updates, troubleshooting methods, and effective use of the AS‑CRM, while maintaining and updating training manuals.
• Support the installation, commissioning, configuration, and testing of Auto Store systems to ensure on‑time, to‑specification project delivery.
• Conduct go‑live activities, performance and acceptance tests, and deliver customer training for operators and service personnel.
• Assist customers and service teams in analysing and resolving system malfunctions, ensuring a clean, safe work environment and supporting start‑up of the new organisation.

• Completed training in an electrotechnical profession (e.g., electrician, mechatronics technician).
• Knowledge of safety regulations;
  Auto Store/PLC experience is advantageous.
• Profound professional experience in site or project management of automation systems, with a track record of successfully delivered projects.
• Strong communication skills in fluent English and solid German language skills.
• Ability to work effectively in construction‑like project environments.
• Competence in using AutoCAD, MS Office and similar software tools to support technical and project‑related tasks.
• Willingness to travel as required for project and customer support activities across mainly the DACH region and from time to time to EMEA.
