The University of Luxembourg is an international research university with a distinctly multilingual and interdisciplinary character.

People from across 20 disciplines are working within the Faculty. Along with the disciplinary approach a very ambitious interdisciplinary research culture has been developed. The faculty's research and teaching focuses on social, economic, political and educational issues with the common goal of contributing to an inclusive, open and resourceful society.

Your role

Current global challenges call for transformative approaches to education, and the CHANGES project focuses on designing, implementing, and researching dissemination pathways to global citizenship education (GCE) that can support children in developing knowledge, skills, and attitudes for building a more inclusive, peaceful, and sustainable future.

CHANGES seeks to advance GCE through collaborating with primary school (cycle 1‑4) teachers in co‑developing and implementing innovative projects with their students that work towards key civic competencies as elaborated by the Council of Europe (2016) and structured around UNESCO's three dimensions for GCE – cognitive, social‑emotional and behavioural.
