We are looking for you as a service technician in the shipping industry (m/f/d) as soon as possible.

• Independently carried out maintenance, servicing and repair work on seagoing vessels during vessel being in service and / or at shipyard
• Preparing repair and solution approaches on the basis of vessel inspections
• Planning spare part requirements in line with customer's requirements
• Leading installation teams
• Coordination of scope of work with the customer
• Communication between shipping company, shipyard and crew
• Preparing technical / acceptance documentation

• Ship mechanic, industrial or construction mechanic or comparable training with professional experience in the shipping sector
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Customer-oriented service mindset
  Independent, structured and solution-oriented way of working
• Team player with a confident manner and a high level of quality and safety awareness
• Willingness to assemble and travel
• Written and spoken English

Founded in 1967 in Wilhelmshaven, Germany, the family-owned company Turbo-Technik originated as a ship repair company for voyage and port repairs of seagoing vessels and today specialises in the repair of merchant vessels, from worldwide voyage and port repairs to conversions, after-sales services for large ship equipment as well as spare parts supply. In addition, we carry out repairs and maintenance of naval vessels as well as technical upgrades and modernisations of all kinds of ships worldwide.

Another strong market segment of Turbo-Technik is the service, repair and construction of industrial, petrochemical and regenerative energy plants. In the industrial sector, we also offer engineering services, the construction of modules as well as steel construction and contract manufacturing.
