Purpose and Scope

The Munitions Tech receives, stores, inspects, test, transports, and maintains U.S. Air Force (USAF) Munitions, Munitions Material Handling Equipment (MMHE), and supporting resources as applicable to the Site. Operates Integrated Maintenance Data System (IMDS). Ensures compliance with Performance Work Statement (PWS) and Dyn Corp ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System (QMS).

Consistently observes and enforces all USAF and host nation safety, AFOSH, and security standards during all non-explosives operations in assigned sites and temporary duty locations.
In the event of an emergency, takes necessary control and timely response actions.
Conducts all munitions work according to established quality processes, identifying potential problems and recommending solutions.
Inspects, reconditions, repairs, and replaces defective or missing parts on assigned munitions material handling equipment
Operate computer hardware and software/utilities and manual records in order to perform stock control and accounting procedures.
Prepares and configures munitions material handling equipment shipments for air, sea, and surface transportation.
Manage all inspection, maintenance, and storage of all assigned support equipment.
Monitor individuals for certification and currency.
Inspects, operates and performs maintenance on light vehicles and handling equipment such as, forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual hoists.
Inspects and operates metal strapping equipment, stencil machines, heat sealers, pneumatic paint guns, air compressors and power tools
Plan, order and ensure availability and serviceability of munitions material handling equipment to support and meet customer requirements.
Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.

Minimum Position Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required

High school diploma or equivalent
Vocational/technical training, licenses, or certificates
Four (4) years of experience with munitions MHE.
Ability to build a team, maintain schedules and frequent certification schedules.
Work with others to ensure contract requirements are met.
Forklift experience may be required.
Must have authorization to work in host country.
