Depositary Officer Specialized in PERE AIFs – Banking

Our client, a reputable player in the banking sector, is seeking a Depositary Officer specialized in Private Equity and Real Estate Alternative Investment Funds (PERE AIFs) to strengthen their team.

• Perform ongoing oversight duties in line with CSSF requirements for AIFs.
• Conduct due diligence and continuous monitoring of fund service providers, including fund administrators and investment managers.
• Ensure proper ownership verification and reconciliation of assets.
• Oversee daily cash flow monitoring.
• Execute oversight duties such as reviewing valuation processes.
• Assist in the preparation of quarterly KPI reports.
• Support the process of issuing year-end portfolio asset positions.

• Ensure adherence to the AIFMD Directive and CSSF Circulars.
• Assist in updating internal procedures to align with evolving regulations.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders as needed.

• University degree in Finance, Economics, Law, or a related field.
• Minimum 2-4 years of experience in a depositary role within the Luxembourg fund industry, with a focus on AIF (PERE) structures.

• Solid understanding of the AIFMD regulatory framework.
• Proficient in Excel and MS Office tools.

• Strong analytical and organizational abilities.
• Excellent communication skills in English (knowledge of Italian or French is considered an asset).
• A team-oriented mindset with the ability to manage priorities independently.
