Laboratory Solutions Manager, Technology Solutions; m​/f​/d

We are now looking for a Laboratory Solutions Manager, Technology Solutions(m/f/d) in Leuna, Germany.

• Lead the Laboratory Solutions team in Leuna, with line‑management responsibility for lab technicians and apprentices.
• Ensure safe and reliable laboratory operations in compliance with HSE, quality and documentation requirements.
• Organise team tasks, clarify responsibilities and ensure efficient workflows.
• Manage all activities needed to keep laboratories operational including maintenance.
• Organise and plan the allocation of laboratory technicians to projects.
• Own performance discussions and development follow‑up for the team and support the development of technicians and apprentices through structured training and regular feedback.
• Work closely with researchers, operations and technology teams to enable high‑quality research results.

• Master’s degree (e.g. in chemistry, chemical engineering, biotechnology, process technology) and at least 5years of leadership experience, or a strong hands‑on laboratory leadership background with at least 10years of experience.
• Experience leading an R&D laboratory and familiar with working with lab technicians in a laboratory environment.
• Understand safe and compliant laboratory work, including HSE, quality and documentation requirements.
• Comfortable coordinating daily laboratory operations and handling multiple operational topics in parallel.
• Structured and dependable leader with a supportive and approachable style.
• Can work well with different stakeholders and collaborate effectively across teams.
• Fluently communicate in German and English.
