We offer you the opportunity to start a career at Roche Diagnostics GmbH in Penzberg through temporary assignment with Franz & Wach Personal service PEN.

• Independent execution of organic synthetic chemistry in peptide synthesis, including the preparation of intermediates for diagnostics and pharmaceutical applications.
• Development work for method optimisation and independent literature research and evaluation.
• Contribution to continuous quality improvement and assurance of feedstock based on internal quality guidelines, and presentation of results in the team.
• Characterisation and analysis of synthesis products and in‑process streams using advanced chemical and physical methods such as HPLC, LC‑MS and NMR.
• Assessment of produced feedstock by complex test methods and operation and maintenance of sophisticated preparative and analytical instruments.
• Preparation of work instructions (e.g., HV, PV, TV) and drafts for SOPs from the direct working environment.
• Complete and careful documentation of all processes in accordance with the valid quality specifications.
• Strict compliance with requirements from quality management, occupational safety and environmental protection (A & U) and takeover of additional tasks such as equipment maintenance.

• Completed study (Bachelor, Master, Diplom) in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Chemical Technology or an equivalent qualification.
• Solid theoretical and practical knowledge in organic synthesis chemistry and modern analytical methods such as HPLC, LC‑MS and NMR.
• High level of independence, precision in documentation and strong awareness of quality and safety regulations.
• Preferably several years of practical experience in peptide synthesis and preparative peptide purification.
• Experience in creating SOPs and optimising synthesis methods based on literature reviews is an advantage.
