Put your expertise into action and join our Germany-wide team as a Pipeline Medical Science Liaison – Focus Psychiatry (all genders).
In this Germany-wide, field-based role, you will shape scientific dialogue around our neuroscience pipeline, with a particular focus on psychiatry, as well as Specialty Care. You will combine strong medical and scientific expertise with close involvement in clinical development programmes, helping to translate scientific evidence into relevant insights for Research and Development and Medical Affairs.
You will work closely with investigators, healthcare professionals, scientific institutions, and internal colleagues in Clinical Development, Clinical Site Monitoring, and Medical Affairs. You will communicate information about investigational products and compounds in development in a strictly scientific, non-promotional manner and in accordance with all applicable legal, regulatory, and internal requirements.
Your ResponsibilitiesBuild and continuously develop trusted scientific relationships with investigators, medical experts, potential study sites, and relevant scientific institutions across Germany.
Conduct high-quality, non-promotional scientific discussions on diseases, current and future treatment options, and Abb Vie’s pipeline.
Support clinical development programmes by collaborating closely with study sites, identifying screening and recruitment challenges, and jointly developing suitable solutions.
Contribute to country and site feasibility assessments and to the selection of suitable study sites and experts.
Collaborate closely with Clinical Site Monitoring, Clinical Development, Medical Affairs, and other relevant global and local functions.
Plan and deliver scientific exchange formats, medical education activities, advisory boards, congress contributions, and scientific presentations.
Gather relevant medical and field insights, evaluate them from a scientific perspective, and feed them systematically into the further development of our pipeline and medical strategy.
Identify opportunities for scientific collaborations, new assets, innovative treatment approaches, and relevant research projects.
Act at all times in accordance with applicable legal, regulatory, and internal requirements.
This is a Germany-wide, predominantly field-based position. You may be based anywhere in Germany, provided you are willing to travel regularly and can flexibly support study sites, experts, and scientific networks throughout the country.
QualificationsA successfully completed university degree in medicine, pharmacy, or the natural sciences; a doctorate or comparable advanced qualification is an advantage.
A minimum of two years of relevant professional experience in Medical Affairs is required.
Experience in the focus indication of psychiatry is strongly preferred.
A good understanding of clinical research and development, scientific methodologies, and current regulatory requirements.
