Customer Planning Manager

For our Supply Chain organization in Burscheid we are seeking a dedicated and determined Customer Planning Manager.

• Leading the S&OE and support S&OP team in Burscheid: as customer-focused team you translate customer demands into executable production plans, ensuring plant Burscheid delivers on-time and in-full.
• Align demand forecast with customer priorities, supporting responsiveness and reliable order fulfillment.
• Ensuring capacity is balanced with customer requirements.
• Apply one piece flow/pull/push systems, takt-based scheduling, and WIP/FG logic to enable efficient flow on the shop floor.
• Developing demand forecast and aligning production schedule logic with customer requirements and inventory policies.
• Ensure material availability, manage inventory buffers, and maintain flow from raw material through finished goods.
• Work closely with material planning, production and logistics to maintain synchronization between demand, supply and plant execution.

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering, business or operations
• Several years of professional experience in the area of production planning, material flow and inventory management
• Clear communicator and able to lead a team as well as coordinate across functions and levels.
• In-depth knowledge of logistics and production processes
• Strong understanding of Lean principles applied to demand planning. Six Sigma and APICS CPIM/CSCP certifications highly valued
• Fluent German and English language skills
• Proficiency in in ERP (SAP), APS and planning tools. Ability to work with MS Office, Power BI and data systems.
